Each year a number of animals are brought to us that need more care than we can
provide here in the shelter. They may be young, orphaned or injured, and require
a quieter environment than we can offer internally. Having a network of
volunteers that can provide temporary care and attention to these special needs
animals helps us get them off to a solid start.
